The Foundation’s research grants provide vital support for scientific advances, including targeted research projects for experienced and young investigators, workshops, as well as providing financial assistance for early career researchers.
Innovation & Discovery Research Grants support established equine investigators pursuing innovative research to improve the health, welfare, safety, and performance of horses, with awards up to 50,000 dollars per year for up to two years
Young Investigator Research grants support early career equine veterinarians who will advance their research skills with a goal of continuing an academic or research career path that will improve the health and welfare of the horse.
This award program is intended to supplement financial support for individuals in postgraduate and residency research training programs with a strong desire to continue in the field of equine research during their careers.
