The Foundation’s education grants provide support for future equine veterinarians through multiple annual scholarships and funding for high-quality labs, lectures, and workshops.
Education Scholarships – The Foundation awards over $500,000 in scholarships annually, providing future practitioners the financial help they need to get established.
Transforming Equine Practice Program (TEP) – TEP grants support programs that have the most impact on a national or international scope in implementing and supporting “Transforming Equine Practice” through education, training, recruitment, and retention efforts for emerging equine veterinarians and equine veterinary students.
Student Convention Reimbursement Program – expands access to high-impact educational and professional development opportunities for equine veterinary students by providing travel assistance to attend the AAEP Annual Convention.
