Transforming Equine Practice Grant Program
Supporting programs for Emerging Equine Veterinarians and Veterinary Students
The Foundation offers Transforming Equine Practice (TEP) grants that support programs for emerging equine veterinarians and veterinary students, following the American Association of Equine Practitioners’ (AAEP) strategic plan and The Foundation’s mission impact area of Education.
TEP grants are made available on a competitive rolling basis to qualified applicants whose programs have the most impact on a national or international scope in implementing and supporting “Transforming Equine Practice” through education, training, recruitment, and retention efforts for emerging equine veterinarians and equine veterinary students. We encourage organizations and practices with creative ideas for educating, mentoring, recruiting, or retaining the next generation of equine veterinarians to apply.
AWARDS
For the 2026 grant cycle we may award a maximum of 12 grants for up to $3,000 each.
TEP grants follow a rolling acceptance. The Foundation will review applications as they are submitted. Grants may be awarded prior to the application deadline.
Note: The Foundation does not fund capital improvements or equipment requests.
