The Foundation for the Horse seeks discovery through innovative projects in areas of equine medicine that will advance the science needed to improve the health and welfare of the horse.
This program supports equine veterinarians who are in programs that will advance their research skills with a goal of continuing an academic or research career path that will improve the health and welfare of the horse.
This award is intended to encourage AAEP members in training programs to continue in equine research during their careers.
